I can not download or upload. It says firewall detected but i turned off all firewalls i know i have and it still does not work.

Please post back here with the brand or type of router you are using to access the internet.

im having the same problem.... somehow i got to use LimeWire yesterday i dont know how i got the firewall removed but its on again...i have no clue what i did to remove it but i cant figure it our again...my windows firewall is turned off but i still have a firewall up PLEASE HELP

please helpme i got both of these problem... i'm new on this and i cant really . i'm so fustrated. please help...! sandrye. ah ill try everything and nothing happends now i got a message saying windows firewall can not be displayed because the *** service is not running. do you want to start the fw/internet connection sharing(ics) sevice? i click Yes , and again says the windows cannot start the wf(ics) service.

For one... if you dont want to help then dont. I personally did look through the forum and under help using limewire and NO IT DIDNT HELP. You obviously arent the one having a problem so if you arent asking for help or providing it dont waste this space with your immature behavior.

And you say waste your time....How? you decided to write back WITHOUT an answer and you decided to read it. A couple of us who were asking for help WAS helped by some great Lime Wire users. Thank you!

Hi,please can anyboby help! This is my 2nd time paying & downloading LimeWire.When I open it up its fine but in the left hand corner I have Fire wall up so nothing happens.(meaning 1 green bar) I have followed the instructions by FAQ,but still the same.I have AVG 2008 free version if this helps.Can anyone help,I would be very grateful.Thanks
