Question separating tracks.

I've checked many forums and can't find my problem. I have down-
loaded a few complete albums. There are no track numbers or song
names. How do I pick a particular song and burn just that song? If
I listen to the 1st four songs and want to burn the 5th song, how
do I do this?Is it even possible? I want to thank you in advance for
your time and expertise.
sincerely,
halfpack

Albums can be downloaded in different forms. (1) Some people simply join the tracks together into one long mp3. (2) Whereas there's also some software out there such as albumwrap which creates a single mp3 file, but the tracks can be separated if you have that software. It's a little like a zip or rar file except you can normally play albumwrap files as they are as a single file.

See How to Downld whole albums & Albumwrap for tips. Admitedly I have not updated that thread for a long time now. There may be other software out there now too.
There are audio splitters you can get in case you have (1) a single joined mp3. (2) else if you have an albumwrap or similar, you can get a hold of that software & separate the songs as they were originally.

In my experience, some albumwraps do & some don't have id3 tags. Some albumwrap files are simply called 'AlbumWrap Album' lol But in those cases usually have mp3 id3 tags to identify them.
