Every time I try to launch an audio file in Limewire it enques the file to play but doesn't play it. Right clicking doesn't work neither does the launch button. The video files still work fine though.

Are you using the little player controls in the bottom right of the library page? What happens when you hit play? You could always disable the LW player and use a different one.

What type of file are you trying to play? The LW player will only play mp3s.
Check to see that you have the LW player enabled. Open LW and go to Tools>Options>player, make sure the box is checked, click apply.

I have the same exact problem....and my limewire player is active. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling...nothing
