hey
had a problem recently where limewire always says it has suddenly had an error. it doesn't even get to the loading screen, it just gives me the option to debug or close. i updated to the latest version, re-installed but nothing wants to let me in. i reset the computer but still nothing. The message gives me this: LimeWire has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. just the typical "windows can't handle it" but clicking debug does nothing and close is self-explanatory. the error signature is: AppName: limewire.exe AppVer: 1.0.0.2 ModName: limewire.exe ModVer: 1.0.0.2 Offset: 000051cb if that means anything to anyone. it gives me options to view technical reports and i noticed one thing: it said i was running windows NT but i am running XP. Could this be the cause? If so, how do i fix it? any help would be greatly appreciated |
