To any one that can help,
I recently downloaded Limewire 2.2.1(?) and along with it came "TopText Link". I didn't like TopText and had to figure out how to delete it. I was finally able to do so, but there are still some lingering exe. files I can't permanently delete. I was informed that with these exe.'s the program could re-install itself whenever "it" chooses. I was informed it can also send my personal info to 3rd parties. After performing a search for "stub.exe" (part of the TopText) on my system, I find the two items I need to delete: File Name: Inkstub In Folder: C:/WINDOWS/system32 File Name: wmpstub In Folder: C:/WINDOWS/system32 When I delete these programs, they simply reappear the next time I run a search for them. Right after I delete them they will disappear and seem to be gone from the system, but as soon as I run another search...there they are again
