 Try updating Java to 1.6.7. See Link Remove All Java versions installed (via Add/Remove Programs) before you install the latest Version. (Download the JRE Offline Installer) Java SE Downloads Fifth one down. ( 1.6.7 ). Hope this Helps.

| I have the same problem, and I have Java 1.6.0_07-b06. The loading screen appears, finishes loading, disappears, but that's it, nothing else happens. Any ideas. BTW, I have a Windows XP notebook with SP3, Cable Modem internet connection and my machine easily exceeds the system requirements. |

| I uninstalled Java and Limewire then reinstalled Limewire. Limewiree attempted to install Java but faild. When running limewire I was then pointed toward the Java download site. This worked and Limewire now works. Many thanks for the replies. Don |
