So, is it just my Java? Since using LW last, I had an older version of Pro (Now have the newest I believe), and I might have had an older version of Java; I see no reason however it shouldn't be working with either one. I also have a "Windows Vista" transformation pack installed. LW worked before I installed that as well, but I don't suppose it could be that because it shouldn't affect any aspects of LW... Ignoring the VTP fact, does anybody have any ideas to offer up? It's also always the same numbered internal error code in every error log. That's why I'm going with a "Java problem".

You can try these fixes...

Try uninstalling all versions of Java from the add/remove programs and then use Crap Cleaner to clean the registry.

Try updating to the latest version of Java here Java SE Downloads

If the latest update gives you any problems, try this older version, which has worked well for lots of people: Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11
Whichever Java version you use, download the JRE offline installer & remove any other Java versions (via Add/Remove Programs) before installing another one.

If that does not help with your problem try deleting your preference folder/s...This will reset your configurations back to default and get rid of any corruption that may of happened...

Fixes for Limewire when LW isn't operating as it should
LimeWire Pref Folder in Vista

If none of the above fix your problem you will need to start fresh using the offline installers for both Limewire and Java...

Is that version of LimeWire the PRO version? Because if I'm going to install a version of LW, it'd be the PRO. Mostly because that's what I have and I have it because that's what I want.
