Magnet link producing error dialogue in IE - how do I fix it?

When I right click on a file in the library and get the magnet link to put in a web page I'm building, the link works fine in Firefox, but I get an error dialogue in IE saying Windows cannot find '...MAGNET LINK...' Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again. To search for a file, click the start button, and then click search. This happens even though the file is loaded into the download list inlimewire ok.

Anyone know how I can fix the links?

It's a pain because I don't want my visitors to get this error.
