Burning fom media player

I can burn a cd it will play in the PC and in my dvd player but wont play on my Hi Fi can anybody tell me why? Thanks in advance to anyone who can hlp.

The most common problem has to do with the ability of your pc and dvd player to play MP3s, while some (older) cd players cannot. If that's your problem make sure you select Audio (or Music) CD when you start your burner.

The main difference: Music CDs can hold little more than one hour of music, whereas you can fit hundreds of MP3 files on a Data CD (that will play in most newer equipment)..
