Default upgraded and lost music

I upgraded to a newer version of limewire and now i have no music. Is there a way to either get it back, or switch to my original version?

Thanks

See whether this link helps: If you've updated LW and can't find your downloads!

I putzed around and found them on my computer, and now everything is working. Thanks for your help.

I hope someone reads this message! I upgraded to the newest version of Limewire and have lost hundreds of shared and saved and incomplete files. I have always named my files under /my documents/Limewire/shared etc etc. The new version of Limewire uses these folders therefore it overwrote ALL my files. I tried a system restore but as everyone knows, it does not restore files. Please help I am desperate! I am using XP.

LW should not have overwritten them. (1) check the above link in Birdy's post. (2) Check both your Saved Files & Shared folder in your Library window. Files will not show in Shared unless they are shared files. If you find them in Saved files folder, right-click each of the files & choose share to have them show in Shared folder.

A simple search using your computer search function should find their exact location. Search .mp3 for example.

Default Thank You!

Thank you so much. I feel really stupid! My son had used the laptop and moved everything into a different root directory. Files are saved! Again, thanks for the quick reply!
