Default Dummy, I guess (fake files in search results)

What's the deal with the "Share (the name of the file you searched for) and any other file from your computer WinZip file" that always turns up at the top of search results? It's a dummy I suppose, but is there really no way to filter out such sh*t?

1. Virus thread: Typical virus spam file sizes - Make a note of them (click on blue link to see), get to recognise them. Select those that are obviously spam junk, then press Junk button so it signifies them as Junk. Eventually the Junk filter learns they are junk (it's not a perfect tool though & sometimes gets it wrong.) Show junk results at bottom of search results.

2. Add the Hostiles List, though if you're using the Alpha version, I think it's built in.

Default Junk search results

I've noticed an increasing sophistication by junk spawners. When I search for music, Limewire will show a plausible "hit" (like with album and artist info) with the only giveaway being that the "song" is always 5,611 kb and you can't browse the host.

It would be nice if LimeWire could implement a system-wide virus removal policy whereby it would periodically solicit or upload user's "junk" IP addresses and if some addresses seem ubiquitous, e-mail them (if possible) to tell them they are transmitting a virus and how to remove it.

If such nagging fails, or if there's no contact info, or if the user's weak security allows re-infection, their IP address should be entered on a list of "bad" ones that are banned use of LimeWire. Again, such users may be unaware that they harbor a virus, so if a "bad" IP address tries to use LimeWire, it should get an error message explaining why he/she's being denied access, and a link or e-mail contact how to get rid of the virus and remove his IP address from the "bad" list.

One problem is that spammers generally change their ip address frequently. There's also large networks & multiple sources of these spammers. Auto filtering those search results from sources with 3 copies or more of identical file would be a help IMHO.
