ok ive used limewire for a while now and all of a sudden it wont let me click on anything. it will highlight but not click. i have uninstalled it many times and java also. ive tried using the jre version of java and the offline installer and it still wont work. im am using it on windows if that helps. ive tried all of the instructions from replys from the same problem but nothing worked. i deleted the limewire folder in application folder but no success. ive tried everything. will someone please help me? it would help me a lot.

Is LW the only program you're having trouble with? Had you updated anything before this happened? What kind of mouse do you have?
As you found out, this is normally solved by reinstalling Java or deleting the prefs folder After you deleted LW's prefs folder, did you have to go through LW's setup wizard all over again & reset all your options?Did you try an older version of Java? Try this one. Make sure to use the JRE offline installer & remove all other Java versions installed on your computer, before you install this version.
