this is a problem with the shortcut so it says on the top of my box. here's what it says..

the drive or network connection that the shortcut 'limewire4.18.8.ink' refers to is unavailable. make sure that the disk is properly inserted or the network is available, and then try again.

so ive tried my laptop wireless connection and my home connection through the telephone lines..and limewire wont open up. im not sure what the problem is? and my limewire is downloaded through a USB port.

Is the LW program installed onto an external drive?

If not it might just be that your shortcut is corrupt. This is not an uncommon happening in windows. Simply delete the shortcut, go to your programs folder & find the LW program inside the program folder, right-click choose create shortcut send to desktop.

Are you using an external storage drive at all? If yes & you have LW set to run from there or your save & shared folders are set up there, then that might be the problem. LW seems to greatly dislike external drives.
