Unhappy problem w/ shortcut?? or USB problem?

this is a problem with the shortcut so it says on the top of my box. here's what it says..

the drive or network connection that the shortcut 'limewire4.18.8.ink' refers to is unavailable. make sure that the disk is properly inserted or the network is available, and then try again.

so ive tried my laptop wireless connection and my home connection through the telephone lines..and limewire wont open up. im not sure what the problem is? and my limewire is downloaded through a USB port.
