Question Help me download files

I can start LW and search for songs, however, when I select one for download it will initial start downloading to approximately 5% and then a message appears, stating: unable to download: there is a disk problem, I have no disk problem to fix

This started recently and I have no idea how to fix it. I have uninstalled conflicting virus/firewall software and still cannot get the songs to download completely.

Below is my system information as requested. Please help

1. OS version? XP, Administrator user account.
2. What firewalls you have? COMODO INTERNET SECURITY
3. How much ram? 2GB
4. Hard Disk space available? 14.3GB
5. Connection type? Broadband
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers? (ZyXEL)
7. Where are you trying to connect from apartment complex, school, student accomodation, work, etc.)?
8. What version of LimeWire (LW) & Java do you have? LW 5.0.11 & JAVA 1.6.0
*It's very important that you tell us whether you're using LW 5*
9. Who is your ISP (Internet Service Provider)? EARTHLINK
10. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: YOUR TEST WORKED
11. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? NO
12. Is this a your 1st try at LW or is this a new problem with an experienced user.
13. Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface? _ click here to see Sample image If you're using LW5, there's no firewall icon. In LW go tools > advanced tools...there you'll see whether you're behind a firewall or not. FIREWALLED
14. For those using a modem/router, how is your modem/router set up...are you port forwarding or is UPnP enabled? PORT
15. What security programs are you using (antivirus etc)? Some people might not be aware that their security suite includes a firewall COMODO, WINDOWS,
16. What country are you living in? Sometimes there are ISPs with the same name in more than one country (eg Clearwire in the USA & also in Ireland). UNITED STATES
17. Has anything in your setup changed recently? Have you updated your version of LW or Java? Have you added any new software or new hardware? Have you updated any software? Have you moved house, changed internet plan or ISP etc etc? NO

The firewall might be at fault or a security program of some sort corrupting the file because it's being checked whilst downloading. Just a guess.

When upgrading versions of LW, you sometimes need to remove your previous allowance for LW in the firewall, then re-add it. See Setting up an exception for LimeWire in your software firewall (click in link). If Windows XP firewall is on, disable it. Only one firewall is needed. Find Windows firewall via control panel.

Also double-check your comodo security settings.

Another thought is defragment your drives. No other program should be running at this time however.
