: The problem I am having only started when I upgraded to Limewire 5 and only affects video files. When I try to access video files either in downloads (previewing or launching of completed files) or my library (selecting to play an item in my library), limewire instantly crashes without showing any error message whatsoever. Can someone tell me how to fix this? I just want to get back to having my video files play in Windows Media Player when I access them.

Other people have had this problem with LW 5 & WMP. Maybe it's a bug. You could ask over here (different forum, so you'll need to register there): LimeWire Forums
In the meantime, try VLC player... that seems to have fixed the prob for some. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/genera...ng-videos.html http://www.gnutellaforums.com/downlo...em-lw-5-a.html |

the support category of LimeWire Forums simply redirects back here. Only the special Pro version of support remains within that site. I posted a copy of my message under the Limewire 5 discussion in the odd chance it is read by someone who can fix my video problems.

Yes that was the one.
Either that one or Bugs section.
