I personally hate the new Limewire. There are so many problems.

Sometimes when i download music. I click "Launch" and it opens iTunes. The music doesn't pay just opens iTunes. I simply refuses to play the music, all i does is open/bring iTunes to the top of the windows. It's extremely frustrating cos i can rarely get music to work...

The hits of songs/artists it comes up with is so little compared to the old Limewire. I used to type down an artist's name and it'd come up with TOO MUCH hits, which i was ok with. But now it comes up with TOO LITTLE, which is driving me insane.

It takes AGES to start up... I got version 5, i dunno if i have to download the latest patch to get it faster but so far it's a snail...

My Library has all these items that make no sense and that i've never downloaded. It has random items like wrx.avi which don't work...

It randomly crashes, my computer could always handle the old version of Limewire just fine. But even when all my Windows are working fine, Limewire would just crash for no apparent reason. It's so frustrating!!!!

If you hate LW 5 so much, why don't you just revert back to LW 4?

Is that what you did? Is everyone else having the same problems?

LW 5 is new & different - some things are missing compared to LW 4 but people who don't like it can easily go back to using 4.18.8.
Some people love LW 5 & some hate it - but you're not being forced to use it

Personally, I use LW 4 sometimes & LW 5 other times.
