Unwanted wipeout of Limewire library due to iTunes update... Help!

I have about 200 songs I downloaded on Limewire and put onto iTunes. Everytime I update iTunes, my Limewire library is completely wiped out, and my songs no longer play on iTunes. How can I stop this? Or get my songs back?
