Default Security Settings

Hi, I recently tried to download the basic version of Limeware to a Windows Vista operating system and kept getting the message: "Your current security settings will not allow this download". Does anyone know how to lower the security settings enough to allow this download? Thank you!

Hi, I'm having a similar problem. You might want to try going into your 'firewall' settings and making sure that Limrewire is an 'exception'. I did that, as it was all that the error message asked me to do, but still I can't even open Limewire. Maybe that's all you need to do though.

First of all, make sure that you're only using one software firewall & that LW has been allowed access, or made an exception.

Turn off your firewall isn't a long term solution. This is only meant for the moment you install Limewire.. and not even then is it a recommended option.

The firewall is there for a reason.
