 re: upgrade vs full install I had already purchased the Upgrade version. My orignial intention was to simply install the upgrade directly over Windows 98SE (and that's what I did) However, after doing that, I ran into all kinds of problems. So that's when I wiped out the computer. I had to reinstall Win98SE and then I used my already purchased XP Pro Upgrade version and put it on top of 98SE before adding programs, etc. I wasn't about to go out and spend extra money to buy the full version. So that's why I did what I did.  |
