not connecting

I have limewire 5.6.2 edition on a windows 7 and a windows xp computer . every time I open it it says limewire connecting and it never connects

About LPE running on Windows 7, it will run best if both your Java & LPE are set to 'Run as Administrator'. ie: right-click the program & choose that option.
For Java, find the Java.exe file. For LPE, you can simply use the LW shortcut on desktop.

LPE (LimeWire Pirate Edition) will also work best after a clean install if installing over a previous LW version. ie: Deleting the LW preferences folder.
