I would suggest perhaps you can make a desktop shortcut to your downloads location when LimeWire is open so you can then access the files easily when LimeWire is closed. |

hmm I guess so. It does seem the maximum upload slots is 50. I don't think LW 4 had any upload limits or perhaps it was 99. There's several things I never liked about LW 5. Edit: FrostWire 4 has unlimited upload slots it seems to LW 4 was no doubt the same. I wanted to incorporate many of LW 4's abilities into WireShare but it became apparent BigJx only wanted to get the program to a bug-less state of LW 5 that could connect easily. I have been considering for several years doing my own version but still never got around to it other than compiling a slightly different version. I have a long list of things to do if I ever get around to it and am able to achieve it. |

The FrostWire Windows Gnutella ConnectFix will only work for FrostWire. Unless you take swap the gnutella.net file from FrostWire's settings folder across into the WireShare settings folder and replace the WireShare equivalent gnutella.net file. Alternatively, find your WireShare settings folder and delete the gnutella.net file whilst WireShare is closed. Then re-opening WireShare should help you to connect. To find the settings folder: Use your computer's Search > type %appdata% into the text field and then look for WireShare's settings folder. Open that folder to find the gnutella.net file. |
