i download limewire and i can download free music is it that simple

Yes it is that simple with the music stuff yes it's great and you will be happy 99 times out of 100.Theres is some excellent music on there i have found some really obscure bands and un-released tracks you can't get anywhere else.It's a great resource to "try before you buy".

I have tried to get the free version but keep getting redirected to the page that wants my visa number?
What do i have to do to get a simple download?

It can be that you might get redirected to "download.com" if the servers of LW are busy. But they will offer you also the free version.

I tried all avenues and always et redirected to the pay here page.

At some point you will see a button that says "Get Basic".
That's the free version.

Well after clicking on the basic one it sends me to downloads.net. I select download it askes the Operating system the a box comes upsaying it can't be verified then the next box says the installer I am trying to use is corrupted or incomplete.

Try the direct download then. ;]

I was able to get it ok. Now just have to find the sharded file to put it on the desk top for access to the songs but seem o be having trouble locating it.
