Why does my LimeWire tweek out (run slow)? It sometimes will also make my other applications run slow...Whats up?

The reason it does this is because it eats up some of your system resources causing everything else to run slower. The only way you can really fix this is by running fewer programs while running LimeWire.

Yeah i find it's best to stop everything not your anti virus software and just use it on it's own the more stuff you have on the slower it runs and everything else is slow.
