I would try to change the compatibility mode for the LW icon as described in my post above.

It is also possible that you need to adjust your desktop display settings. Right click on the desktop and choose Properties. From there you can adjust the settings......though that's just a guess....

Thanks, I changed the DPI setttings in display properties>settings>advanced from large size to normal size and now I see all the items in the box. This is probably why I could not see it in my Windows XP logon but I could see it in another logon.

Thank again.

I'm back with another problem. In my XP logon when I try to launch LW I get the same 'invalid file' message that I got when I first tried to install/launch LW. In my daughter's logon there is no problem.
If I reboot could it solve my problem or create the same problem for my daughter? If I reinstall on my logon will it overwrite my daughter's LW?
Any suggestions? Thanks.

Does she have the same installation? It is possible to share LW via shortcuts across different user acccounts. Or does she have a separate installation in her own user account?

I downloaded and saved the LW file in my logon and then loaded it. I then went to her logon and loaded it. When I loaded hers I got some 'file missing' errors but I continued and it worked.
So I assume they are different installations.

Other than using shortcuts for the same installation, if you wanted to have separate installations that don't affect each other, then a version you don't actually install should do the trick. Download ‘Other’ version & simply unzip & use!

But it looks like your problem is solved for now anyway.

What do I have to do to have seperate installations? I have LW installed and working on my daughters user account but I would like a seperate installation on my user account.
Thank you.

Simply create a shortcut & send it to the other user account (such as desktop or startup items of that user account.) No need for 2 separate installations. Your LW prefs, downld folder, etc. will all be within your own user account folders.
