Can anyone tell me if there is a way to adjust the number of users that you download a song from? It seems to cap out at 10 users. With some of the other programs I have had before it pulls from however many users have that particular file.

You can set your speed in options to T3 but this often actually slows downloads down, so is not as a rule recomended. I have used it once or twice to my advantage, and other times with less good results. If you update to pro you will get a couple more hosts, and if you have a high connection speed this could be an advantage for you. You will also get better search results if you search for rare files if you connect as a leaf, as you will connect to 5 instead of 3 ultrapeers.

There is a deliberate cap on hosts you can connect to for a single file. If there was not one the Gnutella network would not be able to cope with the trafic.......
