 When you did step 5, did you do it to the shortcut or to the program? It should be done directly to the program. Changing compatibility "might" have affected the shortcuts. Easy, just recreate them. I'd suggest getting rid of the earlier version of Java. Keep just one version of Java on the computer. Java update 10 is out now btw. And always install your Java using the "Offline" installers; http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp (about 15 MB downld file.)  |
