Yesterday I submitted my credit card details to upgrade to Pro. A confirmation email was sent.
Today the downloads are no faster, I still seem to be accessing basic, and pop ups appear asking me if I want to upgrade to Pro!! Any ideas how I can get what I paid for? |

Huggy Bear,
Did you buy Pro from www.limewire.com ? That's the only official site. Normally when you pay, you'll get an email from LimeWire with a link to your Pro personal download page...you download your Pro from there. If you're sure that you did buy from the official site, get back to us & we'll be able to help you further! dav69, There are no monthly charges for an official Pro. It costs $18.88 USD & covers you for 6 months worth of updates & email support. It sounds like you've been scammed. Check out the link below for more info (page 5 has a list of scam sites). http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=28751 If you're being charged a monthly fee, you need to contact your bank/CC company & report this ASAP. |

MP3MUSICHQ-COM is nothing to do with LW
You should definitely talk to your bank/CC company, unless you want these scammers to keep deducting payments from your account!Have a look through this thread, page 5 has a list of scam sites. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/open-discussion-topics/28751-membership-warning-beware-download-p2p-clients-only-thru-official-sites.html I don't know if this other thread's going to be useful to you - there's info about how other users have been able to get refunds from scammers. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/open-discussion-topics/44499-get-your-back-music-members.html |
