Oh dear you have lost me know lol...

The DNS numbers aren't the ISP's IP, give them a call and get their IP number from them....
The Router login is similar, but not always the same (I think lol)

Once you have that number, delete the configuration you set up in port forwarding the router and just put the original IP number (the one your isp give's you) in where the static IP number should go....It may work, it may not...

With your actiontec, does it have a letter after GT701.

Default Thanks for the help! One more question & we're done

I downloaded Pando and it seems to work just fine for the file transfer that I needed to do. So I guess I've achieved what I need as far as file sharing.

I asked another question that I think got lost in the shuffle but may turn out to be important.

Now that I have a Static IP on this computer, do I need to create Static IP's on the other two that are hardwired to the router and the one that accesses it wirelessly? If I don't make them all Static, will they eventually be assigned the same IP and stop communicating???

That, I think, is the end of my questions for now.
