Try the fixes in this thread...Uninstall your existing Java first and then install the offline JRE....
Then uninstall Limewire using the LW uninstaller (start > All programs > Limewire) and then re-install it... If it still continues to close down try deleting your preference folder... Fixes for Limewire when LW isn't operating as it should
