| And if you live in the US then downloading copyrighted material that you have not paid for or have a right to it by previously paying for it is not legal. Buying Pro is not paying for the right to copyrighted material. It is simply paying for the pro version of LimeWire. Hopefully you have not gone to one of the many scam sites and purchased LimeWire. LimeWire basic is free to use for as long as you wish. And Pro cost $18.88 for Pro and 6 months of free upgrades. | Thank you for the advice. I am concerned about the downloading of viruses. And also, thank you for the info about it not being legal even with the purchase of Limewire. I thought that was what made it legal. My child is tired of asking me for songs from Itunes and all of her friends are using it. I'm not too excited about the problems I've been reading about on the forums. I guess I just don't want any more problems with our computer. So if I decide to download this is there anyway to just download music only or is it for everything? Thanks again. |
