Is there a way to block certain file types? I tried adding (*.exe and *.zip) to the content filter, but, they still show up in my results. Any Ideas?

Adding them to the keyword filter should do it. Go to Tools>Options>Filters>Keywords, add each one seperately then click apply. It works for me.
