 New installed Limewire does not start My problem is the following: I have been using Limewire 4.12.11 on my laptop for the past few months. Java is installed. On the laptop Limewire is working very well. I am unsuccessfully trying to open Limewire on my desktop. I have downloaded version 4.12.14. After installing, it opens the ”icon” for a moment, closes, and nothing happens. I uninstalled Java from the desktop and downloaded it again. This time I have downloaded Java SE Runtime Environment 6 Update 1, and the same thing happens. I have disabled my McAfee Firewall. My Windows Firewall stays on even though I change it to “off”. I have even tried to use version 4.12.11 on the desktop with the same problem. Both computers share the same ISP. Any advice please?  |
