LIME WIRE CONNECTION-tried everything!

I know so many people have posted this same question.....but I just downlaoded Limewire & I cannot get any connections....when I trry to search a song i get this message, "Limewire is currently connecting to the network. Your search may not return many results until you are fully connected to the network."

I read tons of DIFFERENT answers to this question and tried every one of them including uninstalling Limewire & then re-installing, shutting of my anti virus protection (Norton Anti Virus), changing the port number and proxies.

On the tray at the bottom of my limewire program I have only 1 green bar the other 4 are red.....and I show the firewall icon (which I have shut off). I also called my ISP to see if they block anything and the rep from Windstream said that they do not block anything that should hinder me from downloading music! I have Windstream Broadband & they have sent me a Linksys modem. That I am using.

I NEED HELP!!!!

9. Windstream
10. I get THIS PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED
11. no other
12. 1st try
13. yes I show a brickwall
14. ??not sure its through a phone cable??
15. Norton Anti Virus
