I am trying to delete seeing the .wma files that are not related to song(s) I am looking for. They invariably include some-one un-interesting celebrity get "pranked" plus other activities. VERY Embarasdsing when my somewhat "victorian partner" see the f****d & s****d being used so freely.

Have you "accidentally" downloaded those files?
If so, go to LW>Library>Saved Files.......from there you can delete the already complete downloaded files. If they haven't downloaded completely (i.e. are still in your download window) you can go to LW>Library>Incomplete Files and delete them from there. In case your victorian better half is a computer geek I'd reckon using a "eraser" program and locating with it the files in the Folder "Shared" and "Incomplete" most likely located under: C:\Documents and Settings\<your.computer.name>\Shared(Incomplete, respectively) and delete them with said program under the DoD function... Cheers FOTH

Guess my original question was not too clear. I have not downloaded any of the .wma type. What I am trying to achieve is to have them not show up on the SEARCH LIST. When looking for a song etc., (only do songs). the .wma file types come up on the listing first with some very non-required descriptions.
Thanks DoN C
