Go to LW's menu bar, Tools > Options > Player & disable the LW's media player.

thank you!!!!! obviously i am not computer or limewire savvy..it took me like 30min to figure out how to put my recycling bin back on the desktop after i deleted it on accident...and even now it's just a shortcut...whatever
