Well Thanks for all the info. I guess I will guess.
Next time you might offer up a little more info like the media player you are using.
What kind of file you're trying to play. Stuff like that really helps us help you.
You might need codecs. Try this one. Like I said it's only a guess.

Download the K-Lite Codec Pack.

You could also try another Media Player.

I cannot review a movie while downloading

Remoc December 17th, 2007 06:05 PM

If you are trying to preview a Video with the Limewire Player it won't. It's only an audio player.
What Player are you using??
Could also be a Fake File.

me too!!!!

I have vista and I am having a hard time playing some of the avi videos. I have downloaded the vista codec pack and the divx codecs and most recently the k lite pack (which uninstalled the others) and nothing will work with some of the movie files I tried to view with wmp, and the GOM player. I get error cood1199. I am going to loose my mind soon. Thanks

I am using media player. I have tried numerous downloads and tried to preview but none would. Once they are downloaded to my computer they will play.

I have tried to wait until they have downloded completly as well, and they still will not play. But thanks for responding though.
