Hello All! I am Bernadette. I have a huge problem and would really appreciate some help. I have two computers, a desktop, and a laptop. I purchased the Limewire Pro and I had no problem downloading the software and using it. In my laptop, I download the software and the program opens but it never connects. I remains on "Starting Connection." There is also a firewall icon on the toolbar. I have gone in and tried to disable all firewalls and the only one I can find is Windows firewall. Also, both computers are running through the same router. First through the cable modem, and then through the Linkys router. Can someone please tell me what to do so I can use my Limewire Pro. Also, if this helps, I can use my Shareaza with no problem. Thank you and nice to meet everybody!

I have been to technical support and I have tried to paste gnutella in my limewire folder, and I have upgraded my Java. I still am just connecting.

I am having the same problems. Mine keeps telling me that I do not have the necessary permissions. Any ideas?

Hello, no I do not have that problem, mine just remains on "still connecting for hours. I just recently went in and enabled my unp in my router and that did not work either. I am at a loss-wish I could help you. LOL
