Default Keeping Limewire on my computer

Hi
Last night I successfully downloaded basic limewire and was using it last night to download music however when I returned to use it again today although I had the icon on the desktop when I doubled clicked it a message saying windows cannot open this file appeared. Last night limewire was in a folder in my programe files but it doesn't seem to be there today.
any ideas?

Yes thanks.
Each time I redownload it appears to be working but when I go back the next day it has disappeared again, very strage and very annoying.

Thanks so much. I hadn't heard of these before but will give them a try, do I assume they're different from limewire but do the same job?

Well frostwire I heard was pretty much the same thing as limewire but with a different name/color. Kazaa is a totaly different program but does the same thing.

Just make sure that one of your security programs isn't interfering here.
Maybe one of your security programs is seeing LW as a threat & removing the .exe file? AOL's antispyware & Pest Patrol seem to do this. Check out UK Bob's posts below

Thanks everyone, I seem to be having more success with frostwire and it looks identical to limewire.
