ok so i might be being dense, but i just loaded limewire onto my comuter at my girlfriends house and we have a dial-up connection that generally runs at about 7 mbs. my downloads never take more than 30kbs no mater what i try. no firewalls, and it doesnt matter what i try to download it never gets higher. my downloads are set to use unlimited bandwidth and ive checked all my firewalls for my computer and modem.
am i just being stupid or is there nothing i can do? any help welcome
