limewire will not start up

Default limewire will not start up
I just got limewire pro and it will not start up. It goes to the green screen Where it starts the program then jumps to limewire setup wizzard where I click next and then it just disappears. I tried uninstalling limewire and my java and reinstalling it. I tried the compatibility and that didn't work. I am using windows xp and this is really frustrating me, so can anyone help.

"I've tried downloading TWICE, I have one icons on my desktop, when opened they both offer the same set-up. Now the set-up is the only thing that will open, not the shortcut?? Should there be a shortcut?I never added one?? Can not even see the lime wire page to request uploads. This is the second time I've bought limewire Pro and there's no support for customers ans the FAQ or better to say "f...u" page does not help. I understand there's no refund policy but at least give some support.
