rudebox,

Welcome to the forum, and congradulations on learning how to post a question!

It's been awhile since I've tried to dl albums, so others may have more up-to-date tips on this. You probably don't want all the songs in one big file, so it may be easiest to dl each song seperately.

You may have better luck searching torrent sites. Torrents often come as multiple files, so they're perfect for whole albums. If you're using LW, it will handle the torrent for you (though LW is not a very good torrent client). Do a web search for torrent sites, find the album you seek, read the comments to be sure it's a good copy, select "download this torrent" (it will appear somewhere on the page describing the torrent). Choose OPEN (not save) when the box appears, and you should see the torrent name appear in LW's dl window.

The torrent site will probably tell you that you need a torrent client. For a few dls, LW is good enough (i.e., don't bother to install another program). Stay away from Warez, and you can probably get what you want without having to register or "join" anything.

Blackhorse,
Thankyou so much for all the info. I was getting a bit frustrated at not having any ready info available. I'll try what you've suggested and hopefully get some albums. I've got 5 gigs to use a month and so far I am wasting most of 'em, so figured I could use 'em up getting some albums from the good old days.

Thanks again.
