Hi, this is my first posting.
Windows XP, dsl connection. Started up Limewire after a couple weeks away. Tried to launch from my library and got a shock; A Zune interface appeared; reorganized my entire library. What's up with that? ![]() Cause for alarm? Or worse? Seebreeze |

Go to your LW library, click on Saved Files then click Explore (bottom left). Now your saved folder's open...right click on a file > open with > choose program > select the player you want from the list > tick the box to always use this program to open files of this type > ok.
If that doesn't work, you can change the file types that WMP associates with: Within WMP go tools > options > file types > tick the formats that you want WMP to play > apply > ok.

Thanks so much, but how is it that Zune suddenly appeared? Was it included in a windows XP update? And does Zune monitor your files?
thanks so much! |

Zune's a Microsoft product, but I don't think it would've been installed as a MS update (it's certainly never appeared as an update for me). Maybe somebody else installed it on your computer?? Do you know anyone with a Zune player?
Zune - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I don't use a Zune, but it looks like the software does collect info from your computer - during installation & if you use the Marketplace. Zune.net | Download Zune software If you're not going to use the software, uninstall it
