Can somebody please tell me if limewire pro 5 is compatible with windows 7?

I guess so. Win 7 is included in the list of OSs for the Windows platform: Get LimeWire for Your Platform - Lime Wire

Check out the LimeWire 5 and Bugs & Beta Testing sections - I think some Win 7 users have posted there in the past.

If you're not currently using a Pro version, maybe try the basic (free) 5.3.6 before buying Pro Just remember that unless you have LW's installer saved, you'd lose whatever version of LW that you use now if you update to the latest basic version!
