Hi Bob,

LW seem to have restricted the credit cards that people can use to buy or renew LW Pro, so have a look at FrostWire. It's very similar to LW, is free & has many Pro features. Click on the blue link below.
FrostWire

Or, if you like, you could try another free Gnutella client, as mentioned in post #6 of this thread.

Default you are out of luck

It seems to me if Limewire wants to make money they better get their moerators to let them know they are missing alot of sales by not taking MASTERCARD OR USING PAYPAL.

They need to join the online people with ways to pay for their product.

Paypal is a good safe way for all people to pay atleast Limewire could get that set up.

WAKE UP LIMEWIRE DO SOMETHING!

You know BC

Back in the dim and distant past (about 5 years ago), unless my mind is playing tricks on me, the LW Org. used to accept Paypal and Mastercard as methods of payment.

I'm guessing that, as Mastercard has become the dominant (world wide) credit card system, the LW Org. has run into some sort of problem based on the fee they are charged by Mastercard.

You see, credit card companies charge a fee to the companies that use their facilities, maybe the LW Org. now think the fee is too high.

But, I must admit, I agree with you and that the LW Org. should use Mastercard's payment facilities because they could be loosing more than they save.

UK Bob
