I understand the Pro version will connect automatic with Itunes. The basic will not. Therefore, I have to burn a cd to get the music I get from the basic then upload them to Itunes.
One problem not all the music from limewire basic will burn to a cd properly and when I try to load it from the cd to Itunes I get a message from Itunes saying the file cannot be found do I want to try to locate it. The file will play on the cd but, will not transfer from the cd to Itunes. Do you know why or what I can do to fix this problem?????????? Help my favorite song "there is a river" won't go to Itunes. You don't have to burn and re-add the songs. Just have iTunes monitor the save/shared folder

LW Basic will communicate with itunes. First you need to enable the options in both iTunes & LW settings. See How to transfer music to my iPod (& iTunes) {click on link}
Question is, is it an mp3 disk or a regular audio CD? iTunes can import songs from an audio CD. You can also add songs from an mp3 disk. |

Well I had to call Apple. I found out it was the settings in my Ipod not limewire after all. MY Ipod was not set to download music. It is a new Ipod and I just didn't know it did not come ready to download music. I also, did not now that limewire would auto link with itues in the basic mode. I sure am glad it will. No more having to make a cd to get my music into Itunes.
