disconected, no files to share

i have used this 4 a while and today it says disconected becouse i have no files to share. all the music i have downloaded is in my shared folder, why is it telling me that i have no files to share? please help asap!

Could you be more specific??? It can't say disconnected because you have no files to share. Think: many of the people that use the program for the first time are not sharing any files at all.

When i went to sign on it wouldnt let me , it sayed at the top "disconected no files to share" i have had it a while so im not a new be to it , anyway, I figured it out and i am sharing files now. i had them in the wrong folder, i think that was limewire way of saying DONT B A FREE LOADER, ....lol im not! thanks 4 the reply and pease out.

Sign on to Gnotella? Are you sure? What version are you using? AFAIK there has never been asked to sign in in ths program.
