Default Why is my number of conected hosts only half of what I select?

Why is my number of connected hosts only half of what I set?
Six gets me three, three connects to two. This was not the case before.

I'm using the latest version of Gnotella. The problem seems to have started after I loaded Limewire for comparison.

Thumbs down Must be a bug

because I have the same problem. And I haven't loaded any other Gnutell client, ever.

It's pretty eratic though. Sometimes I set 10 and get between 5 and 8. No rhyme or reason to it.

When you tick the "Allow incoming" tickbox on the "Hosts" page, you will get half the amount of hosts that you specified. If you untick it, they will "come back".

I don't know why it happens, though.

I asked the same question in this thread.
