I am behind a firewall. How come I can't download anything? What the hell do I do to download files. They all say "Requested time out". But even before I had a firewall this happened 9 times out of 10. What the hell is wrong with this? Is Gnotella just a shitty program?

I am behind a firewall and can download things just fine with BearShare.

Errmm....he is actually in the Gnotella forum(unless this thread have been moved?).

Anyway.

Only go for the search results that are in black, NOT red.

The red ones are also behind firewalls, and that never works.

You may also have to enter the settings of your firewall, to allow Gnotella full access.
