Gnotella doesn't work..
Just like 2 out of 3 gnutella clients out there, gnotella just won't connect to anyone. It sits there connecting and reconnecting to servers, never ever getting to "see" any of them. Limewire has been the only problem free server connecting to others but their site is down and my version is outdated...

I have the same problem.
I am not behind a firewall and have a T1 connection, yet the dumb thing keeps on connecting disconnecting and then reconnecting to servers without any serious uptime.

Same problems
Since I´he updated drom 1.0 to 1.03 I will get no host connections anymore. My bearshare finds some, so they are some...

Please help.....I need music!!!!!
I have the same problem. I have a T1 connection. Gnotella connects...then connects off and on. Also it connects to other servers for a second and then nothing. I never find ANY songs! I don't understand this thing!
Also if I was behind a firewall what would I do to download?

Get the latest version, 1.10. I had the same disconnect-disconnects, and the latest version cured it.

try to add public.bearshare.net in Configuration => Network connections => Saved Hosts
and cancel any other server address tell me if problem are resolved

current version doesnt work with XP
When I upgraded to XP and reinstalled Gnotella it gave me the same problems of not connecting. I am using BearShare and it is working. I prefer Gnotella though
