I think you should add a simple thing that shows the progress of the file scan... it currently freezes and you don't know how long it will be like that (usually a long time if you have a bunch of files). Maybe an "abort" button can be added so incase the file scan takes too long you can cancel it and not have the "birate info". This is the best solution i can find to this problem.

Takes a while to scan my 3.800 files ![]() Btw. please add an option to scan / don't scan shared files on startup, those 3.800 files take about 3 mins, almost blocking my puter for that time .. Fireball |

yes an option in the config area would probably be as good of an idea as an abort button, maybe both can be implemented.
